Unit-Load AS/RS is an automated warehouse configuration for large, heavy palletized loads. Stacker cranes travel along aisles between high rack rows, automatically placing pallets into storage and retrieving them on commands from the control software.
By maximizing building height and eliminating forklift aisles, Unit-Load AS/RS significantly increases storage density on the same floor area while reducing collision risk and handling errors during inbound and outbound operations.
